Privacy Policy

In this Privacy Policy, we explain how SwissCleaner Lobert / CleanerPro processes personal data. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person.

2. Personal data processed

We process in particular data that you provide to us when placing an order, registering, contacting us, subscribing to the newsletter, submitting a product review or using our online shop.

Depending on how you use our services, this includes in particular your name, address, email address, delivery address, billing address, telephone number, customer account data, order and payment information, messages to us, product reviews, wish lists, watch lists and technical data such as IP address, browser, device data, log data and cookie information.

We generally do not process particularly sensitive personal data and do not carry out age verification.

3. Purposes of processing

We process personal data in particular for the following purposes:

  • providing and operating the online shop;
  • processing orders, payments, deliveries, returns and customer accounts;
  • responding to enquiries via contact form or email;
  • sending newsletters if you have subscribed to them;
  • displaying and managing product reviews and wish lists;
  • fraud prevention, security, error analysis and prevention of misuse;
  • accounting, bookkeeping and compliance with legal obligations;
  • improving our offer, our shop and our communication;
  • marketing and performance measurement, where permitted or with your consent.

4. Customer account, guest checkout and newsletter

You can create a customer account in our shop or place an order as a guest. If you create a customer account, we store the necessary information so that you can manage orders and use functions such as wish lists or watch lists.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting us.

5. Contact form and product reviews

If you contact us via a form or by email, we process your information to handle your enquiry. If you submit a product review, the content you provide may be published in the shop.

6. Payment processing

For payments, we use the payment methods offered during the order process, in particular PayPal, credit card payment and purchase on invoice. The data required for payment is transmitted to the respective payment service provider. Payment service providers may process data partly under their own responsibility and in accordance with their own privacy policies.

CleanerPro does not currently carry out credit checks.

7. Delivery and shipping

For delivery, we pass on the required order and delivery data to shipping and logistics partners. According to the current setup, shipping is handled by Bauknecht or the respective seller/supplier and Swiss Post or related shipping service providers.

8. Hosting, email and technical service providers

Our shop and email services are operated by ESTUGO. According to the current setup, the server location is Germany. Technical operating data, log data, emails and shop data may be processed by the hosting provider.

We may use additional technical service providers where this is necessary for the operation, maintenance, security, accounting or further development of the shop.

9. Automation, n8n, AI and accounting

We may process order, customer, communication and accounting data using automation tools such as n8n and AI-supported tools. This serves in particular internal organisation, document processing, accounting, customer service support, error analysis, data structuring and process automation.

We only use the data required for the respective purpose. AI-supported analyses are used to support internal work processes. Decisions with legal effect or similarly significant effects for customers are not made solely by automated means.

If specific external AI service providers are used with personal data in the future, we will ensure appropriate data protection safeguards and update this Privacy Policy if necessary.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Our shop uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies are required for operating the shop, the shopping cart, login, session management and storing your cookie settings.

In addition, where activated and accepted by you, services such as Google reCAPTCHA, Google Analytics, Google Ads Conversion Tracking and embedded YouTube content may be used. These services may process data such as IP address, device information, usage data and cookie information and may transfer data to providers abroad.

You can adjust your cookie settings at any time in the cookie consent panel. Disabling certain cookies may restrict shop functions.

11. Google services and YouTube

We may use Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms against misuse and spam. We may also use Google Ads Conversion Tracking to measure the effectiveness of advertising measures.

If Google Analytics is used, it serves to analyse the use of our shop and improve our offer. YouTube content may be embedded; when such content is played or activated, data may be transmitted to Google or YouTube.

The provider of these services is, depending on the service, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA.

12. Disclosure of personal data

We disclose personal data only where this is necessary for the purposes mentioned, in particular to:

  • hosting, IT and email service providers;
  • payment service providers;
  • shipping, delivery and logistics partners;
  • accounting and automation service providers;
  • marketing and analytics service providers, where used;
  • authorities, courts or other bodies if we are legally obliged to do so or need to protect legitimate interests.

13. Processing of data abroad

Personal data may be processed in Switzerland, Germany, the European Economic Area and other countries, in particular where international service providers such as payment providers or Google services are used.

For transfers to countries without an adequate level of data protection, we ensure appropriate safeguards, in particular contractual data protection clauses, where such safeguards are required.

14. Retention period

We retain personal data only for as long as required for the respective purposes or as long as statutory retention obligations apply. We generally retain business and accounting documents for 10 years.

Customer accounts can be deleted upon request, provided that no statutory retention obligations or overriding legitimate interests prevent deletion.

15. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unauthorised processing. These include access restrictions, encrypted transmissions and security measures at hosting level.

16. Your rights

Subject to applicable data protection law, you have in particular the right to request information about the personal data we process. You may also request the correction of inaccurate data, the deletion of data, the restriction of certain processing activities, the disclosure of certain data or object to certain processing activities.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time, in particular if our data processing activities, services used or the legal situation change. The version published on this website applies.
